Oleg Nikolayevich Avdeev, the general consul of Russia in South India, stated on Tuesday that he was eagerly anticipating Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing.
According to ANI, Avdeev predicted that the mission “will definitely be a great success” and that it will be a “fruitful lunar programme” for India.
“Everyone in India, including myself, is looking forward to tomorrow’s moon orbital event. According to the ANI article quoting Avdeev, “I am confident that it will be a success for the Indian lunar programme and the rover will land safely and begin operating. “I am confident that this lunar programme for India will be very successful, and there will undoubtedly be more moon exploration.”
All eyes are on India’s Chandrayaan-3 project, which is scheduled to land on the moon on August 23, 2023, at about 1804 IST, after Russia’s Luna-25 mission was a failure.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission remains on schedule, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), and systems are getting frequent inspections.
The Mission Operations Complex (at ISRO) is buzzing with joy as everything are going smoothly. On X (formerly known as Twitter), the ISRO stated.
On Wednesday, at 5:20 PM IST, the landing operations will begin to be broadcast live.
Starting at 5:27 PM IST on Wednesday, viewers can watch the broadcast on the ISRO website, its YouTube page, Facebook, and public television station DD National TV.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched by the ISRO on July 14 and has been in orbit for one month and eight days.
The Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, served as the launchpad for the spacecraft.
The third lunar mission from India is called Chandrayaan-3. Its goals include a soft and secure landing on the moon’s surface, rover movement, and in-situ scientific investigations.
