“We could have had an in-depth conversation separately if opposition had been interested in talking about Manipur. Home Minister Amit Shah invited the opposition to a meeting and detailed his Wednesday remarks on Manipur, but the opposition “only wants to play politics,” according to PM Modi.
PM Modi went on to reassure Manipur that India is supporting it at this difficult period. Manipur has a terrible problem with crimes against women. The federal and state governments are making every effort to prosecute offenders. The entire nation supports the ladies of Manipur, and this House also stands with them, according to PM Modi.
PM Modi said, “I want to reassure the people of Manipur that together, we will find a solution and restore peace in the state.
In an apparent jab at the previous administrations in the north-eastern states, PM Modi remarked, “Congress and its politics are the root cause of difficulties in the northeast. The northeastern people’s faith has been assassinated, and the wounds from that crime keep resurfacing. Ethnic conflict has affected Manipur during the previous Congress rule.
According to PM Modi, his administration prioritises the northeast, and he listed the region’s recent nine-year development efforts.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the opposition’s no-confidence motion against his administration was a gift from God and predicted that the NDA and BJP will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a resounding triumph that would shatter all previous records.
