India has won the Asian Champions Trophy four times, making them the most successful team in the competition’s history. With three titles, Pakistan is now in second place.
Earlier, India’s Gurjant tied the game against Malaysia in a thrilling 3-3 outcome.

Jugraj Singh scored for India in the opening period to give them a lead, but Kamal Abu Arzai for Malaysia tied the score at one.
Razie Rahim of Malaysia scored from a penalty corner to make it 2-1 in the second quarter, and Aminudin Muhamad added a goal late in the period to make it 3-1.
The third quarter began with Harmanpreet Singh of India converting a penalty shot to make it 2-3 before Gurjant scored the equaliser.
Akashdeep scored a last-second winner while the score was tied to enable India win the Asian Champions Trophy for a record-tying fourth time.
