Apple announced the iPhone 15 series, its latest lineup of smartphones. The new iPhones come in four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have a new design with a flat-edge aluminum frame and a glass back. They also have a new 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, which supports a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by the A16 Bionic chip, which is a slight upgrade over the A15 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 14 series. They also have a dual-camera system on the back, consisting of a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have a more premium design with a stainless steel frame and a glass back. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are also powered by the A16 Bionic chip, but they have a new 3nm process that makes it more efficient. They also have a new LiDAR scanner for improved augmented reality experiences.
All four models of the iPhone 15 support 5G connectivity, and they all have a new Cinematic mode for video recording. They also have a new Always-On display that shows the time and notifications even when the phone is asleep.
