All students enrolled in coaching facilities, dormitories, or other accommodations would undergo these psychological evaluations every two weeks, according to OP Bunkar, the district collector for Kota. The goal is to comprehend the pupils’ psychological health, and if necessary, professionals will offer them counselling and direction.
Sharad Choudhary, the superintendent of police for Kota city, also suggested that a group of parents of students in Kota be organised. This group would cooperate in attempts to stop student suicides and maintain contact with the district administration about the welfare of their kids.
Additionally, District Collector Bunkar instructed officials to make sure that the rules established for coaching facilities, hostels, and other lodgings were strictly followed. He emphasised the significance of having security systems in hostel rooms and other safety precautions in place to prevent hanging fatalities. In addition, he suggested that coaching centres make Sundays a required day off and stop administering exams on that day.
It’s crucial to remember that, as of January, there had been a total of 19 documented suicides among kids visiting coaching facilities in Kota this year.
