The Auction is expected to be modified in accordance with the ongoing Asian Games training regimen for the national teams.
The PKL 10 Player Auction has been postponed, according to a statement from Mashal Sports, the league’s organiser. This choice was made at the administrator’s request, as the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India is the recognised governing organisation for Kabaddi in India. The Player Auction was initially slated to take place on September 8 and 9, 2023.

“We have received a formal request from the AKFI Administrator to postpone the PKL Season 10 Player Auction in view of the ongoing preparations of the Indian Men’s and Women’s Teams for Kabaddi medal competitions at the Asian Games,” a Mashal representative stated. Mashal and AKFI both agree that this is a crucial event for Indian Kabaddi.
Mashal gave the AKFI Administrator a briefing on the planning and preparations that the PKL Teams, the PKL broadcast partner, and Mashal had done for the earlier scheduled dates of 8–9 September as part of the consultations on the deferral of the PKL Season 10 Player Auction. According to the Mashal Spokesperson, “The Administrator has acknowledged and appreciated the comprehensive reworking that all PKL stakeholders including our 12 Teams and the broadcaster will have to make for the deferred player auction”.
In collaboration with the PKL Teams and Star Sports, the league’s broadcast partner, Mashal Sports will now reveal the upcoming dates for the PKL Season 10 Player Auction.
