Rahul Gandhi claimed that the BJP and RSS are putting their own individuals in influential positions within the institutional framework.
Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, has said that the RSS-BJP are inserting their own people into important positions in the nation’s institutional framework and that even ministers are required to consult with RSS members in order to make decisions for their various ministries.
During a conversation with children at a gathering in Leh on Friday, Mr. Gandhi made the assertion.
“The Constitution is the cornerstone of independence in India. The Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Planning Commission, the forces, all these elements—the Constitution is a collection of rules, and you put the constitution into life by creating the institutions that support its goal.
He claimed that the BJP and the RSS are inserting their supporters into influential positions inside the institutional framework.
For instance, “if you go to the ministers of the government of India and ask them ‘whether you are genuinely making the choices in your ministries’? They’ll tell you that we have to consult with a man from the RSS to determine what occurs in our ministry,” he asserted.
Nitin Gadkari, a union minister, responded to Mr. Gandhi’s comments by telling the Aaj Tak TV channel that his accusations are absurd and that there are no RSS members in the departments the ministers work in.
Mr. Gandhi travelled to Pangong Tso Lake in Ladakh on a motorbike on Saturday.
The party posted pictures of Gandhi dressed in bicycle gear and riding a motorbike towards the lake on its official social media accounts.
Gandhi posted a photo of himself riding a motorbike on Instagram along with the caption, “On our way to Pangong Lake, which my father used to say is one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
Mr. Gandhi is currently in Ladakh, a Union Territory, and he will likely return the following week.
