In an interview on “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge” this past Sunday, Brand discussed his brief union with Perry and emphasized the celebrity, alienation, and instability he experienced at the time. The singer of “I Kissed a Girl” was likewise described by Brand as “an amazing person.”

According to Brand, that was the time when she was working in America and was “sort of most in the public eye,” and “some aspects of [that time] were amazing.”
She is a wonderful lady. It was very amazing to experience celebrity in its “eye of the cyclone” mode for a little period of time,” Brand said.
βAside from my sort of feelings of affection for Katy, itβs a time that I remember has been a little bit chaotic and a bit for meβ¦ a little disconnected,β he added.
Notably, Brand married Perry in 2010 but the couple got separated after 14 months when the “Arthur” star sent a text message about breaking up with her.
