Delhi Metro will run on its regular schedule on August 15 across the entire network, according to an important traffic advisory for Independence Day in Delhi.
On August 15, which is Independence Day, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will run as usual throughout the entire network. Metro train services on all lines will start at 5 am from all terminal stations in order to assist passengers in getting to the Independence Day ceremony. The trains will run on their regular timetable starting at 6 a.m.
Parking facilities won’t be available at stations from 6 a.m. on August 14 to 2 p.m. on August 15 due to security concerns, according to DMRC. DMRC tweeted about it and claimed that the adjustments were made for security reasons.
Another statement made today by DMRC stated that starting on August 12th, Gate No. 3 at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station will be closed for renovations. It is recommended that travellers utilise Gate No. 4 instead.
